Join us this Chinese New Year for an afternoon of art and tradition. In collaboration with artist Penny Peng, known for her brushwork and calligraphy, we invite you to explore the harmony of life drawing and Chinese calligraphy. Using provided materials, you’ll craft your own hand-painted postcard—a keepsake infused with tradition and celebration.

Penny Peng (肖依) is a visual artist from Beijing, China, and a graduate of the MFA Illustration as Visual Essay program in New York. Her work captures the passage of time through still images, focusing on small moments that reveal relationships between people and their surroundings. Penny translates personal experiences into fictional narratives, creating quiet, introspective art that resonates widely. Passionate about making art accessible, she welcomes challenges and loves engaging with the public through creative workshops.
